Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

Crochet workshop With Daya Hadiya Rameshbhai

Crochet workshop

Crochet is a process of creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials. The name is derived from the French term crochet, meaning ‘small hook’. Hooks can be made from a variety of materials, such as metal, wood, bamboo, or plastic. Rooftop brings together a crochet workshop with Daya Hadiya Rameshbhai.

About The Artist

Daya is into baking and art. She puts up her artwork and shows her work on her Instagram account.

The Workshop Began

Daya greeted all the participants and thanked them for the introduction. She first started teaching knitting in a ball of white wool. She taught the techniques of knitting in a simple and easy manner as all the participants had a lovely time learning Crochet and she answered all the queries of the participants.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Daya created a beautiful crochet design of a small piece in white and pink color wool. All the participants appreciated her design and showed their co-created Crochet artwork. The host thanked Daya for teaching this art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
