Our homes are made up of wall hanging and photo frames. These speak stories that only the inhabitants of the house know about. However, there are many stories and techniques behind the formation of these art frames. One such technique is String Art.

Speaking of home decor, wall hangings are the best and everyone’s favourite. Instead of buying expensive decors, why not create one? Therefore, to give our Circle Members a chance to learn about these beautiful art forms, Rooftop curated the Fusion Series workshop and invited Niharika Sharma.

Niharika is a college student who is not just an enthusiast but a sheer art lover. She is a person who loves to experiment with different art forms and likes to explore a plethora of options to diversify her artistic skills. 

String Art & Wall Hanging Workshop Began

Niharika started off the workshop with all the preferable materials requisite to make the finest string art. She introduced the basics of string art. In addition to this, Niharika was very detailed in her description of the process. She paces forward with a speed that suits the need of any beginner as well. The first day of the workshop was all about string art and queries regarding this art form. Niharika was quite patient and focused on the intricacies of the art form. 

Towards the end of the Workshop 

On the second day of the workshop, Niharika took over the art form of the wall hanging. She being an artist herself understand the complexities and intricacies attach to any art form, taught the workshop keeping in mind attention to detail. The workshop concluded with her beautiful wall hanging and attendees’ work as well. 

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
