String Art for Beginners Workshop with Lovina Bhagchandani

String art

String Art has been a popular art form for a long time. The art was widely popular in the 70s but is now making a comeback as a fun and simple artwork one can make in their spare time. String art was first discovered in the 19th Century.

To make this art form more popular among art enthusiasts, Rooftop introduced a String Art Workshop with Lovina Bhagchandani.

About The Artist

Lovina Bhagchandani has been creating string art for over two years. Even though she was a part of the corporate field for a long time, she was always passionate about art and imbibed some qualities from her family members, who are ardent followers of art. She conducts several workshops on string art worldwide.

The Workshop Began

The workshop started off with an introduction of Lovina and her journey. Lovina explained how one can learn to create string art and advised on the materials required for it.

She drew four lines connecting each other. She taught the nailing for the string art and showed how to align the nails by checking the distance and the level between them and unpinned it later.

She continued taking a string in order to make the string art and explained the method in a simple and easy to understand manner. The strings used for the artwork were made of blue and orange threads. Bhagchandani showed all her creations to the participants.

Towards the End Of The Workshop

The participants appreciated Lovina‘s artwork as they were spellbound with her talent and creativity. Moreover, they co-created the artwork with her and thoroughly enjoyed the process.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
