Soap Making & Bath Salts Workshop By Shivani Saklecha

Soap Making and Bath Salt making is a luxurious activity to indulge in. It is something of a daily necessity as well. Thereupon, to educate our Circle members about the basics of soap and salt making, Rajasthan curated a special Fusion workshop series for two days. We invited Shivani Saklecha to immerse us in this beautiful process.

Shivani is pursuing law as her professional career. But her passion for arts led her to explore the world of soap making. She is a perfectionist and exceptionally dedicated to her work.

Soap Making and Bath Salt Workshop Began

Shivani started the workshop with a very interactive introduction asking her attendees about any prior experience regarding soap making. In her session, she even mentioned the varied processes of soap making namely, Melt and pour, cold process, and hot process. In this session, she is teaching the melt and pour process to her attendees. Moreover, she even did not forget to give some basic tips to her attendees that is to buy the base for melt and pour soap making from the vendors themselves. This will make the process more economically friendly.

Towards the end of the Workshop

In the end, Shivani attended to a great number of queries which really made the experience more insightful. In addition to this, the two-day workshop ended on a note of clearer knowledge of homemade bath salts as well.

She was very thorough in her procedure and explained every bit of it in layman’s terms. From soap and bath salt making to selling it – Shivani knows it all.

PRO TIP: While making the soap add any liquefied fragrance or color after melting whereas if using mica colors or any solidified colors and fragrance add them before melting.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
