Shiny Tree Art Workshop With Nikitha

Shiny tree art workshop with Nikitha

Plaster of Paris is a fine white powder of calcium sulphate hemihydrate. The gypsum solution is quick at drying and named so that the materials to make it are abundantly available in Paris. Fresco paintings inspired the use of Plaster of Paris to be used as a base for texture. The paintings are durable and can stand any weathering effects. Also, the 3-D appearance of the objects makes it a desirable choice. Rooftop brings together Shiny Tree Art Workshop with Nikitha.

About The Artist

Ms.Nikita has aced her Fashion Designing degree. The passionate artist was awarded the most passionate artist award. Art has been her passion since childhood and she tries to remain connected with it in some way.

The Workshop Began

The artist started mixing plaster of Paris (POP) with fevicol and water. She smeared the paste on the paper to achieve a beautiful base texture. She further created the outline of the tree with a glue gun. The base shade and background colour were painted black. The tree looked mesmerising after the application of the metallic gold acrylic colour with fingers.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

All the attendees showed their artwork to Nikhita. She was delighted to see all the artworks and appreciated all the attendees and encouraged them for their creativity. The painting was glazing and had a mesmerizing look.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
