Pichwai Painting Workshop By Mohit Choubisa

Pichwai paintings define intricacy and visually stunning characteristics through their painting style. The paintings were initially made on cloth, based on the tales of Lord Krishna’s life. To give our Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rooftop curated a special workshop and invited Mohit Choubisa.

Mohit is a man of many talents. He is a geographer and a banker by profession. What still didn’t leave him is his love for art. He is an artist by passion, loves to play with different art forms, and experience joy in multitudinous of his creative skills.

Pichwai Painting Workshop Began

The pichwai painting workshop began with a poll in order to check the knowledge of our attendees as well. Fortunately, 82% of them were right. This led Mohiit to throw light on this subject in a more detailed manner. He gave an embellished description of Pichwai Painting and everything there is to know about the art form.

He gives a kickstart to the painting by explaining the whole process in an elaborate manner inclusive of insightful hacks, preferable materials required.

Towards the end of the Workshop

The ancient art form of Pichwai painting was quite intricate and attendees put many queries. Mohit answered them with precision and much clarity. The workshop concluded with everyone showcasing their work.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was also successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
