One Stroke Rose Painting Workshop with Purnima Jain

One stroke rose painting by Purnima jain

Art is the way through which we can get closer to nature and experience its beauty trapped on a canvas. Painting is an art that requires one to see what nature shows but with detailing at the core of it. A beautiful still of the time captured on a canvas leaves the viewer awestruck that even words are not enough to describe it! Such is the beauty of this art. One famous painting method that is both relaxing and fun to work on is the One Stroke Painting method in which one stroke of the brush is loaded with two separate colours, in order to achieve shading and highlighting in one stroke.

To provide the Circle family with the magical experience of One stroke painting, TCC curated an amazing workshop with expert artist Purnima Jain.

About The Artist

Purnima Jain is an ardent art devotee who loves to create amazing and strikingly beautiful artworks depicting the beauty and reality of the world and nature. Painting, for her, is a passion that drove her to become a professional painter. She has sold her paintings in numerous places all around the world and her journey is filled with amazing experiences that she loves to share with fellow artists and art aspirants in the form of workshops.

The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Purnima and her experiences as an artist. Purnima greeted and expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees. She initiated the workshop by giving some insight into the beauty of one stroke painting and then listed out the prerequisites of the art form and started creating the artwork from scratch. Purnima laid emphasis on the amount of pressure to be applied while curating the art and demonstrated how to control one’s hands while applying the pressure. The attendees were very engrossed in the session as they were co-creating with her. Purnima explained each step in a very detailed manner that made it easy for the attendees to grasp.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the workshop progressed towards completion, the attendees were able to create their own artworks which they showcased to Purnima for her feedback, who found each of them very beautiful and full of effort. The workshop concluded with the attendees thanking and appreciating Purnima for teaching the whole art form in such a fun and easy way.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups, but their love for art brought them together on one platform. TCC as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating magical and positive vibes altogether.
