Mandala Basics and Illustrations Art Workshop With Titirsha Mal

Mandala Art

The mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. The circular designs symbolize the idea that life is never-ending and everything is connected. The mandala also represents the spiritual journey within the individual viewer. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this modern art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special Gouache Art Workshop and invited Titirsha Mal.

Titirsha Mal is a medical student pursuing her MBBS degree from MMCH. Art is her passion. It helps her to stay calm and concentrate. It’s therapy to her. She started drawing when she was 6 years old. But she started drawing mandala from her second year of college which is not more than one year. She started her page in April 2020 and no looking back from then. She learned so many things from her fellow artists, She updated herself, and above everything, she found her unique style which is Illustration combined mandala with quotes.

Mandala Basics and Illustrations Art Workshop Began

The Mandala Basics and Illustrations Art Workshop began with a short introduction of the artist who also gave insights into the art form. We started painting the background and drew two kittens on the paper. Then, started coloring up the kitten with a black brush pen and moved from illustration to the mandala with a compass and pencil. The intricate part of the mandala which was done outside the structure of the kitten gave an alluring look. We then conducted a fun poll session and it was a fun experience for all!

Towards The End Of The Workshop

We then moved further and erased all the drawings done with the pencil and completed the detailing in the circle one by one. Lastly, all the layers of the mandala were completed and the patterns of flowers and leaves beautified. All the attendees displayed their artwork and the artist appreciated their work

The attendees seemed immersed in the workshop and also asked for another workshop.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
