Mandala Art Workshop By Lakshita Sharma

Mandala Art Workshop

A Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means ‘circle’. Mandala is a geometric configuration of symbols that constitutes the cosmos or deities. This art form represents wholeness and a model for the organizational structure of life itself. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special Mandala Art Workshop and invited Lakshita Sharma.

Lakshita is a 13 years old mandala – acrylic artist. She always loves doing art from the starting itself. She became more passionate about it in this lock down when she came across a new art form. After that there was no looking back, she started experimenting with this art form with many mixed media and acrylic techniques. She believes that Rajasthan Studios has provided her a greater platform to showcase her talent.

Mandala Art Workshop Began

The Mandala Art workshop began with Lakshita giving a small introduction about the Mandala art form. She selected a magical globe for her mandala and started elaborating all the minute details and the curves she was sketching. Lakshita spoke about why she selected this art form and how it interests her .She was very excited while talking about the mandala to the attendees. She was very precised about the lines and the design she was using in the globe .She even told the attendees which sort of pens they should use to make their artwork to look attractive .

She filled the patterns with all the different colours of pens she had and was showing the attendees all the ways she could make the artwork beautiful.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Towards the end Lakshita had a look at the mandalas made by the attendees . She was very happy with the workshop. the. She even Thanked Rajasthan Studio for giving her this platform .

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
