Macrame Mandala Workshop With Preethi Muthu

Macramé is a form of textile produced using knotting techniques. The primary knots of macramé are the square and forms of “hitching . Most friendship bracelets exchanged among schoolchildren and teens are created using this method. Vendors at theme parks, malls, seasonal fairs and other public places may sell macramé jewelry or decoration as well. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special workshop and invited Preeti Muthu.

Macrame Mandala Workshop Began

Preethi started the session by telling the attendees about what she was going to be teaching in the session. She demonstrated all the steps in detail by showing samples. All the attendees paid attention and noted all the key points.

She explaind about the different types of knots, such as square knots, that are involved in making macrame mandala.She also explained the different types of threads that could also be used and also the required thickness of threads. She made sure that she was responding to all queries and questions.

 Towards The End Of The Workshop

Preethi explained each step in detail. Moreover, she made a beautiful pink macrame mandala. The attendees were very excited to showcase their work. The overall experience was very delightful and everyone was elated by the experience.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan Studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
