Giant eyes, rounded shapes, and simplistic features are hallmarks of one of the cutest forms of art. Kawaii is a Japanese word for cute. Scalable graphics lend themselves perfectly to the style being graphic and bold. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this traditional art form, Rajasthan Studio curated a special workshop and invited Molshree Jain.

Molshree is making art since early childhood but she went on to get a double master’s in Finance did her MBA from Symbiosis Pune. Post that she worked in the Banking sector with companies like Credit Suisse and ICICI Bank and alongside started exploring digital art.

About 2 years ago she quit her job to become a full-time professional artist and designer, started taking on projects for logo designing, branding, web content, music album covers, and anything that interested her. She is also a doodle coach and takes workshops as well as long-duration courses on multiple styles of doodling and meditative arts. She is from Mumbai and works with organizations to build and manage offline communities around artists and art enthusiasts.

Kawaii Doodle Workshop Began

Molshree started the session by introducing Kawaii doodling. She spoke about the origin of the word “kawaii”. She gave the attendees a lot of facts and history about doodling and specifically, kawaii doodling. All the  attendees paid attention and noted all the key points.

She went to explain the different types of pens and markers that can be used. Molshree also explained what software and device that could also be used. She made sure that she was responding to all queries and questions.

 Towards The End Of The Workshop

Molshree not only displayed her art but also encouraged the attendees to try their hand at this quirky art form. She showcased a lot of her own work in different mediums which inspired all the attendees greatly. The attendees were very excited to showcase their work. The overall experience was very delightful and everyone was elated by the experience.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rajasthan Studio as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
