The best thing about designing your own mandala is that one has the freedom to choose whatever shapes and colours that one wishes to express their sense of self and view of reality. Mandalas have great benefits such as meditation and increased self-awareness.
To make the art form of Mandala popular among art lovers, The Circle Community conducted a workshop on Illusion Mandala with expert artist Kriti Saxena.
About The Artist
Kriti does various art forms. Mandala art is something that highly interests her and she started doing it during the lockdown.
The Workshop Began
The workshop began with an introduction of Kriti and her journey as an artist. Kriti thanked the hosts and welcomed all the participants. She introduced the illusion mandala art to all the participants. Beginning the artwork, she explained how to draw a circle and demonstrated it on paper. She started designing it with black gel pen and started designing the mandala, drawing a lotus and various patterns and designs inside it. She coloured the mandala designs with pink, yellow and blue and showed her artworks to the participants.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
Kriti beautifully completed the Illusion Mandala design with various kinds of techniques, which looked really attractive. All the participants co-created their own mandalas with her and showcased them at the end of the session. Kriti was delighted with all the artworks and appreciated the participants. The host thanked Kriti for teaching everyone the relaxing art form.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Circle Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
