Hyper Realism Workshop with Soumili

Hyper Realism Workshop with Soumili

Hyper Realism is a new art form that evolved from older movements, however, the traditional tools that are used to create art apply to this art genre as well. This includes paint, clay, graphite, ink, charcoal, etc. Hyperrealism is based on the aesthetic ideologies of photorealism and was promoted by a few artists out of America and Europe. Hyper-realist sculptors and painters used photographs as a reference in order to achieve a lifelike recreation of the image. To know more about this trendy art we curated a Hyper realism Workshop with Soumili.

About The Artist

Soumili has been painting since she was a five-year-old kid. She reconnected with art during the lockdown.

The Hyper realism Workshop Began

Soumili thanked the host for the lovely introduction and greeted the participants. She started sketching the eyeballs and started shading it red for the eyes and black for the eyeballs. Further she gave tips and advice on how it is important to shine the subject we are drawing and told the beginners one has to get started slowly and gradually. She concluded the workshop by giving finishing touches to her hyperrealism art.

Towards The End Of The Hyper realism Workshop

Soumili created a pair of eyes which looked realistic and lifelike. She drew a pair of eyeballs with the eyeballs in black colour and the nerves red colour. It looked as if the eyes would pop out of the canvas. All the participants appreciated her art and showed their co-created artworks. The host thanked Soumili for teaching this art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
