Hoop Art Workshop With Ravina Jain

Hoop art

Hoop art is a traditional form of embroidery in which the designed embroidery is placed on the wall. It is stretched and framed over a canvas or board. The embroidery design is easy to use and is readily available for designing purposes.

To make the Circle family aware about this unique art form, TCC brought together a hoop art workshop with Ravina Jain.

About The Artist

Ravina Jain is an embroidery hoop art artist from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Jain’s Instagram handle is @piroya20. She started her art journey during the 2020 lockdown due to the pandemic since she is passionate about art as an artist.

The Workshop Began

The host introduced the artist of the day and greeted all the attendees. As Ravina introduced embroidery hoops, she spoke about the types of hoops that are widely used for the art form. She guided the participants and emphasized that constant practice is the key to perfecting the art of embroidery. Jain showed her embroidery work on denim jeans. She moved on to show embroidery on elements like flowers, leaves, and buds. She showcased one of her creations which was a customized embroidery hoop for Mother‘s Day.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Ravina shared some of her new embroidery hoop creations consisting of a variety of designs. Ravina was happy after sharing her creative knowledge with the participants. All of the participants co-created with Ravina and one of them named Shobha also showcased her unique work. The host thanked all the participants and Ravina for sharing information on this unique art form.

The attendees were from different parts of the country and belonged to different age groups, but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. TCC, as always, was successful in organizing a unique workshop and creating memories for a lifetime.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
