Gouache Skies Workshop with Kshama Shah

Gouache painting

Gouache is an opaque, water-based medium and is a member of the water media family, can be used like watercolour. As with watercolour, one can rewet gouache with water to make it thin and make it more transparent. Gouache is opaque, and matte and the colours can be blended just like acrylics. Rooftop curated a Gouache Skies Workshop with Kshama Shah.

Kshama created a wonderful blue sky with blue and yellow colours and coconut trees in the background. All the participants appreciated her and showed their co-created Gouache Skies and showed their co-created one-stroke paintings to Kshama. She appreciated all the participants’ artwork. The host thanked Kshama for teaching this wonderful art. The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform.
