Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines. In simple words it is to draw, sketch or scribble idly, especially while your head is occupied with something else. People of all age groups doodle for fun or out of boredom. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about this art form, Rooftop curated a special Doodle Art Workshop and invited Manjiri Manjrekar.
Manjiri Manjrekar is a biomedical engineer. Art has always been her hobby and she has been practicing it since she was a kid. Two years ago she started posting her art on Instagram and since then she has discovered various art forms over the period.
Doodle Art Workshop Began
Manjiri started the workshop by sharing some of her previous artworks or doodles. She described different types and themes of doodle with some of her previous artworks.
Manjiri commenced with the doodling and explained the process in detail. She started with one type of doodle and kept on moving to another. Next, she gave some insights on what materials to use to make the themed doodles stand out and more attractive. She also shared the benefits of doodling while doing her artwork.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
The workshop was very interactive and interesting. There were a lot of requests from the attendees to learn more different types of doodle. Manjiri welcomed those requests and unveiled how to do those doodles. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their beautiful artworks.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
