Acrylic Painting Beginner-Friendly Workshop with Neelofar Fatima

Acrylic Painting Beginner Friendly Workshop with Neelofar Fatima

Otto Röhm invented acrylic resin, which quickly transformed into acrylic paint. In 1934, the first usable acrylic resin dispersion was developed by German chemical company BASF, which was patented by Rohm and Haas. Synthetic paint was first used in the 1940s, combining some of the properties of oil and watercolour. Between 1946 and 1949, Leonard Bocour and Sam Golden invented a solution for acrylic paint under the brand Magna paint. Rooftop hosted an Acrylic painting beginner-friendly workshop with Neelofar Fatima for art lovers.

About The Artist

Neelofar belongs from Kolkata and is a final year medical student and a part-time artist.

The Workshop Began

Neelofar greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the lovely introduction. She first started painting strokes of blue and red colour for the blending colour of them on the canvas. She then continued to paint mountains, rivers and trees with black colour and concluded the sketch of the tree by drawing the leaves and the stem.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Neelofar created a beautiful and colourful acrylic painting of beautiful sunset, coconut tree, mountain and grass. All the participants appreciated her created acrylic painting and showed their co-created one stroke painting to her. She appreciated all the participants’ artworks. The host thanked Neelofar for teaching this wonderful art.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
