Abstract art is all about using one’s creativity and visualization and bringing them together to form a wonderful piece of art without even going into great detail. Using knives, one can add versatility to their imagination and bring their emotions to life through artwork. 

In order to introduce the magic of abstract art in a beautiful way to people, Rooftop organized an amazing session and invited expert artist Anamika Singh to facilitate the workshop.

About The Artist

Anamika is a very devoted and experienced artist. She has been practising different art forms like acrylic, watercolor, and even mandala art. Art, for her, is a way to transcend into a world of peace and creativity as is evident from her works. Her life has seen many phases from a full-time teacher to a mother and then eventually becoming an artist and she gladly enjoyed all her phases and sought art as her best conveying medium. 

And The Workshop Began

The workshop began with a brief introduction of Anamika and her wonderful journey as an artist. Anamika expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees and the hosts of the session. She further described more about the art form and started to demonstrate the procedure of creating it. She explained each and every step involved in a detailed manner and also addressed the participants’ doubts. The attendees co-created with her and were completely engrossed in the process.  She also listed out points that need to be taken care of when performing the process.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

As the workshop progressed towards completion, the attendees were very delighted and gleeful as they were able to create their own abstract art pieces, which they showed to Anamika for feedback, who found each one of them very beautiful and full of effort. The workshop proved to be very advantageous for the participants and they expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Anamika and Rooftop. 

The participants were from different parts of the country and belonged to various age groups, but their love for art brought them together on one single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in curating an amazing workshop filled with learning and memories to be cherished for a long time.
