Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

3-D mandala Workshop with Karishma Parikh

3D mandala workshop

Mandala art, the term comes from the Sanskrit word for circle and refers to a sense of wholeness. The strokes begin from the center of the canvas which becomes the focal point, from there geometrical patterns radiate out in circles hiding layers of meanings. Mandala is a symbol, a prayer, meditation, introspection, healing, and a blessing.

About The Artist

Karishma is an international artist and got connected to art in the lockdown during the pandemic.

The Workshop Began

Karishma greeted all the participants and thanked them for the introduction. She started drawing different circles with appropriate measurements. She continued to draw inner circles with a circular and started sketching the designs and patterns in Mandala as they looked artistic and popped out of the canvas. Parikh answered all the questions of the participants.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

Karishma created a beautiful 3DMandala art with different patterns and designs. All the participants appreciated her art and showed their co-created 3D Mandala Art to Karishma. The host thanked Karishma for teaching this Mandela art.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. They also belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
