Rooftop – Where India Inspires Creativity

Colour Palette Workshop By Liam Kumawat

Colour Palette workshop

A colour scheme is one of the most important parts of an art piece without which the art may look chaotic or disorganized. The Colour scheme connects and communicates your message both visually and psychologically. To give our Circle Members the experience to learn and enlighten themselves about the importance of the colour schemes, Rooftop curated a Colour Palette Workshop and invited Liam Kumawat.

Liam Kumawat is a 9th-standard student and an emerging Indian artist, born with the urge of learning art. He has started putting his goal of having a better world in his paintings. His fine skills, vibrant colors and expressive thoughts combine to give an excellent portrayal of nature. His strength is the natural ease, which he uses in his artworks.

At such a small age his achievements are astounding. He was selected in top 25 Indian participants for International Watercolor Society, Poland exhibition in 2020. His work was also exhibited at Japan Internet Watercolor Autumn 2020. He is currently an Associate Member of Japan International Watercolor Institute.

 Colour Palette Workshop Began

The Colour Palette Workshop began with a brief introduction of the artist Liam. Further Liam displayed the artwork that the attendees would be working on. Later he started with the painting and demonstrating each step in detail.

Moving forward, he showcased how to attain different colours by combining different colours. He demonstrated different techniques of creating layers, shades, texture and tints. While working on the painting he also shared a lot of tips and hacks.

Towards The End Of The Workshop

The Colour Palette Workshop was quite intricate but Liam put it forward in simple terms. There were a lot of questions by the attendees which were all answered clearly and precisely by Liam. The attendees were quite consumed in the vibrant colors and creating their own masterpiece. The workshop ended with everyone showcasing their colourful and vibrant works.

The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. Rooftop as always was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.

On this note, here’s us signing off until next time!
