Isn’t it special when we are able to bring our imagination into reality? Craft is one such experience where we create something out of our imagination. DIY crafts, in particular, have been getting a lot of attention from artists around the world. While craft requires precision and technique, DIY totally depends on an individual’s imagination and creativity.
In order to make the Circle family aware of some unique DIY craft techniques, Rooftop conducted an informative session with expert artist Shrishti Sharma.
About The Artist
Shrishti was always an art enthusiast and looked at her teacher as an inspiration. But circumstances changed and she had to take a break from her art journey. She then completed her BA after her board examinations. Thereafter, she started to prepare for a competitive exam but was not able to resist her passion and love for arts and eventually started her journey in her beloved field, this time in a more professional way. She pursued a diploma in art and secured a scholarship with a leading brand. She dreams to be like her art teacher one day.
And The Workshop Began
The workshop began with a brief introduction of Shrishti and her experiences. Shrishti, too, expressed her heartfelt gratitude and took the attendees through her journey as an aspiring artist. Thereafter, she listed out all the important materials required for the project and started creating the artwork. She explained each and every point in great detail and made sure the attendees were engrossed in the art. The attendees, too, were enjoying the vibe and getting their queries cleared with Shrishti. Shrishti also displayed some of her previous works that gave an insight into her expertise in the art form. The session was very advantageous for all the participants as they learned a lot of new tricks and tips and a completely new art form.
Towards The End of The Workshop
As the session progressed towards completion, the attendees were able to create their own artworks and showcased them. Shrishti found all the works very beautiful and full of effort. The session then ended on an appreciative note by the participants for Shrishti and Rooftop.
The attendees were from different regions of the country and belonged to various age groups, but were united by their passion for arts that eventually led them to a single platform. Rooftop, as always, was triumphant in bringing like-minded artists together and celebrating their passion for art while creating memories that could be cherished for a long time.
On that note, here’s us signing off until next time!
