Pichwai Art belongs to Nathdwara Rajasthan. Nathdwara is a holy town in the Udaipur district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Recognized internationally, Nathdwara has admirers from across the globe. This 400 years old art is a visually stunning art form as it majorly depicts the life tales of Shrinathji, the Child Avatar of Lord Krishna, each story uniquely suited to a particular season or festival.
About The Artist
Aanchal is a graduate of NIFT Delhi and is passionate about art.
The Workshop Began
Aanchal greeted all the participants and thanked the host for the lovely introduction. She first started drawing the eye, lotus flowers, a design. She coloured the design with black colour. Lotus in pink colours and flowers in blue colour and beautifully made the Pichwai art. The art looked aesthetically pleasing and colourful.
Towards The End Of The Workshop
Aanchal created a beautiful blue colourful Animal Pichwai. All the participants appreciated her art and showed their co-created pichwai art to Anika. The host thanked Aanchal Gupta.
The attendees were from different parts of the country. Also, they belonged to different age groups but their love for art brought them together on a single platform. The Rooftop Community, as always, was successful in connecting artists and curating a magical and positive vibe together.
